Not really sure what de Grandhomme did to get picked over Neesham? Seems like Neesham has been dropped because of his bowling which seems a bit weird if the all-rounder is going to bat 6. Anyway good luck to the 2 debutants.

I agree. I actually think Todd Astle had done enough in the Plunkett Shield with the bat to be considered at 6 and play Matt Henry over de Grandhomme

I saw 2/0 on cricinfo and I thought Amir must have rolled some openers. Then I realised that Cricinfo does it the other way.

New Zealand take a first innings lead, but 146/6 now. de Grandhomme goes for an aggressive 29. Raval didn't score this morning, out for 55 on debut
New Zealand certainly throwing away the big advantage they had. I cant see Southee lasting much longer either (although after my de Grandhomme comments yesterday, he'll probably go on to make a hundred now).
