Not surprising that we have lost this T20 series, hard to back up so quickly after playing in a T20 World Cup semi final and final.

India finished up after the group stage so have had more of a break and look more motivated for this series with it being played at home.

I'm more interested in the upcoming test series, after all the T20 cricket we've seen over the last few weeks it will be good to see some test cricket.

I know this may be a weird thing to say but Ross Taylor in subcontinent conditions is a bad miss for the kiwis. This team ems to be a bit thin from 7 onwards in terms of batting.

Santner is batting too high at 7, he was hopeless last night, he struggled to get bat on ball and looked like a tailender, Southee would've been better.

Just feel personally from 7 onwards they looked a bit thin. Usually a Kyle Jamieson, the ex-Zimbabwean De Grandhomme would usually come out at that time to give them a bit oomph

I would have liked to have seen Boult rested too, no point burning out our best two quicks with the first test just a few days away.

It's the positions of Saha and Mayank that had me questioning the line up from the start. Mayank did bat down the order in Australia earlier this year, and Saha has been batting well up the order in the shorter formats
