First thread, always heard of big footy and read some interesting stuff.
In an era where it appears TV AFL callers are getting worse; Let’s face it, it’s gone downhill since Cometti hung up the mic and Basil started getting a gig, who is your:
Favourite TV caller :
Favourite Radio caller :
Worst of all time :
Mine:
Radio: Peter Booth circa 1989-92 (3LO / ABC grandstand) - retired too early. Hon mention Tim Lane.
Current commentator: Gerard Whately.
TV: Cometti. Hon mention the late Drew Morphett & Quartermain was underrated imo.
Current: Huddo
Worst of all time: Michael Christian, Basil Zempilas and Hamish McLaughlin, hard to split!
My background: I got into footy as a 5 year old, born here but my parents are were immigrants and all my cousins had a team. Loved watching Peter Daicos and Darren Millane.
