In Their Crucial Match in Coff's Harbour, The Socceroos Managed To Sneak Past The Might Of American Samoa 32-0, With Archie Thompson Scoring 14 Goals.

One of the many reasons Aussie Rules is better than soccer.

Get a life pal. Point to one game out of the millions played around the world and claim that is the reason why a game played in one country is better than one played by millions in 198 countries.

Yes, the Oceania qualifiers are a joke, but I hardly think that's good enough reason to slate off the entire game.

You haven't proved why Aussie Rules is "better" than soccer. If are talking about the blowout scoreline, more of them happen in Aussie Rules every week than in soccer.

Soccer is no where near as good as AFL VFL DVFL,VAFA, QSFL, SANFL and so on. The score could have been 32 all and my opinion of soccer wouldn't change. The under 9s in the DVFL create more entertainment.

Well, to bring this on topic...what is the biggest flogging ever seen on a footy oval, at any level? I know of Geelong's 37.17 a few years ago, but what about in other organized competitions? I was reading EDFL results in the Moonee Valley paper and saw at least three scores over 200, so it must be a more common occurrence in district footy.
