Jubjub, I have been following and posting on Bigfooty for well over a year.

The only use for "registration" that I can find is so that some (insecure? Or is that harsh?) people can run a competition between themselves as to how many posts they can make.

The quality of posts varies wildly amongst these people.

I am already a part of a "club". Hawthorn and AFL Rules (in that order).

Of course now having said all that, you will now have to register your nickname here, otherwise some smartarse like G4E will sign in and register it instead, preventing you from using it.

That is one reason I can think of to register yourself.

Another reason: I guess since Bluey has information on us, if we post anything that is libellous then the injured party has some means of recourse other than suing/closing the bulletin board. Is this right Bluey?
