Those players weren't Langdon, Petruccelle, JJ, Cameron or Ah Chee by any chance were they?
Well langdon wasn't with the team at that stage. And i was told before the airport incident.id say it was senior players who felt let down on the eve of a big game

They can suck it up. Because Willie will embarrass them on the track. They will know their place soon enough

The thing that will be going through everyone's mind is **** he's good.

There's people that no matter how hard you try you will never live up to their level. That's willie.

Yup, I'm of the opinion that get him on the track for the next 8 weeks or whatever, make him play a game of WAFL and then get him in.

As long as he's patching things up during that time, training his ass off and doing the right things, he should be right to slot back in without it causing too much friction.

Lol lets be honest. There will be no friction. Players on the edge will look in the mirror and ask themselves are they better then willie the answer will be no. In addition players only get pissed when they feel some worse player is taking their spot.

There will be no serious on the edge player looking in the mirror thinking they are better then willie. No matter how hard they train or work.

Rip that band aid off quicker. No WAFL just straight B22 leaves players no hope they can keep their spot. Creates less friction.

Willie will prove his spot in training not wafl. Proving himself in WAFL is merely for the fans to be convinced. That is not necessary and counter productive. He needs to prove himself at training for the players

It probably will be. The issue is, will the team be able to play in Vic and return home without isolation requirement?

You'd think/hope that IF Sydney are forced to relocate the game, it is done around a week out (the players would have to relocate anyway - so surely that would need to be around a week in advance similar to the dogs).

They play Port in Adelaide this week - I'm not going to lie and say Adelaide is as good a place as any to relocate - but surely that would make sense as an alternate venue if one is required.

Sounds sensible.

Cluster grew to 11 looking at a 3 day snap lockdown. stars are aligning for us to not play at SCG.
Would be good, for us selfishly of course, if this get's a little bigger and lasts a few weeks but who knows what Berjilurkinhim would do. About as inconsistent as they come with lockdowns and restrictions.

Well with 10 new cases today in NSW I cannot see how the game at the SCG can go ahead

Sydney stay in adelaide we play them at the Adelaide oval.....makes sense and gives us a much better chance of winning IMO

If we play with the style and intensity of the past few wins then all 4 wins is very possible. I take comfort in the fact we nearly beat the Dogs in Melbourne without Shuey and Yeo, now they are missing Treloar and Dunkley and have to play us at home.

The win against the Blues at the SCG was a blessing in disguise. We got the monkey off out backs and the majority of the side got a run on the ground within a month of playing the Swans. That has to be an advantage.

Kangaroos will be a walk in the park and we should beat Adelaide as we love AO and they are very up and down this year.

For me it comes down to two things. Injuries and intent. If we get through unscathed and play at the level we have the past theee weeks then we win all four and send a little shock through the competition that the giant has awoken and is fit.
