So our next 4 games are:

Doggies at home
Swans at SCG
Norf at home
Crows at AO (aka Eagles home away from home)

What has the Richmond win done for us? Breathed fire and hope into our season.

We now sit on 8 wins meaning we are level on the same wins as 4th (albeit with Lions and Port with a game in hand). We now have a 2 win gap on 9th place.

We were narrowly pipped by the Dogs at Marvel and taking some of the home crowd roar from Sunday must be worth more than 7 points
We have finally broken the 21st Century hoodoo at the SCG so maybe a new optimism
We play the cellar dwellers at home and have never lost to Norf at Optus
We play the Crows at our other home ground having comfortably beaten them first time round

After the break, we are likely to get Sheppard back with Brander available and possibly Petruccelle as well for the Doggies game..
During this 4 week period, we are expecting Shuey, Gov and Kelly to all return as we welcome back the cavalry.

With some new found hope, some youthful injection of talent and a team looking to resume hunting fresh off a 14 day break, what are the expectations?

Pass mark is a 3 win run but no reason to think we can't get on a roll and make it 4 from 4.

Can see us winning all 4, especially if Shuey comes back next game and has an immediate impact (and can keep fit). Adding him or Kelly to the midfield with Yeo fit and firing changes the complexion of the team completely. Wouldn't be surprised if we dropped the Dogs or Sydney games.

Fingers crossed. I'm liking kennedy moving up the ground more ala 2018.him and darling are really good link up guys especially seeing as our midfield is generally weaker than the opposition
Luke edwards being able to get good numbers as a mid is something we havent had in years from a youngster too

Need to at least split the Bulldogs/Swans games

Then beat the two bottom 6 teams

Three is a pass

Four is achievable albeit unlikely

3 is a pass but 4 is probably required in all honesty. We have Melbourne and Brisbane still to come later in the year and I don’t think we’d want any more than 6 losses if we’re any chance at top 4. A record of 15-7 might get us in but that’s that borderline % area where we don’t want to be. Only allowing one loss for the rest of the year doesn’t sound that exciting, feel as though we’re going to regret losing the 3 games we had in control. Even just hanging on in one or two of them changes the season entirely.

Win all four and top 4 becomes a realistic chance again.

I suspect we will drop one game, but win out the remaining games in the season until the final rnd against Brisbane. I could see both teams playing that game with the winner to secure 4th place (loser 5th).

Ive got all but sydney pencilled in as a win but more importantly i think we can roll melbourne.

theyve been our bitches for a long time and that final routing broke that club - absolutely broke them.

we are inside their heads and they will go to absolute pieces if we get a run on.

St kilda we will do
over at optus,

collingwood at the g hold no fears

looking forward to an excellent few weeks of footy

We've lost a couple of games we would have been expected to win (Saints and Bombers), now we really need to win some that we may be expected to lose.

Tigers was the start of that, need to throw everything at the dogs and swans.

4-0 means we can afford a slip up later in the year. 3-1 leaves us with no wriggle room.

Next 4 are a monty.

Then apart from Brissie, all games are very winnable.

We will end up 4th.
I love your enthusiasm. I've got us having a very good run home and still finishing 7th. It seems everyone above us has a good run home as well.

Forgot to mention that on Sunday Willie Rioli walks through the doors and starts training. Tell me that won't be a massive high!
Willie wandering into the club only to find that everyone has left for bye week

Could be some awkward moments.a fair few of the team were quite upset with him and didnt want him back

Probably a good time for him to come back during the bye. Gives them a few days to catch up, work out differences etc and then concentrate on the game.
