Kenny needs to promote the refreshing and reinvigorating of the team with fresh blood at the helm.

VC: Travis Boak
DVC (if necessary): Jay Schulz

Lets hope we never see the likes of the debacle last year that had 7 or 8 "co-captians", including some recently dropped due to on field efforts, annoited to lead the boys.

I would also like Bradbert as captain, but if he goes through a Dom-like decline he won't be uncaptained for the duration of his career due to his name.

I guess I would only object to Kane of the possible likely suspects.

Historically we had captain coaches before moving to specialised coaches and seperating the roles.

I see 2013 being a revolutionary year, and taking the next giant leap, with the introduction of non-playing captains. Imagine a specialist who runs on flips the coin like no other, makes the call and then puts his feet up for the rest of the day.

This could extend the careers of some of our great. What is REbert doing next year?

If Boak and Ebert aren't ready now, they never will be. They aren't kids anymore.

Hammer isn't a bad call either but just should be concentrating on the body and being fit for every game.

Shultz ...no problem with that either if they thought others lacked the maturity but they do.

Pre season will sort it out. I know the London game was only an exhibition match but Hammer did wear the captaincy well ...but for his injury record ...it does make the pre season more interesting if Hammer gets though and looks OK and not an injury risk.

I think I'm still riding the brad train for captain, as nice the idea of Boaky doing the job is, I just don't trust he will stick around past free agency, maybe I'm being petty and phobic, but It sits nicer for me with brad at the helm, let Boaky be his 2IC.

Give Boak a bit more credit. He's stayed with us in the worst of times when it would have been very easy to go to Geelong who will play finals and is closer to family

Him, Ebert or Schulz would be good choices. I think people are underrating how much Boak has bled for club
