Carlton keep picking duds like Casboult, Jones, Gibbons, McKay. SPS isn’t doing much for a top 10 pick, Simpson and Murphy are slow and close to done, and if you tag out Cripps or hassle him enough there’s really no one else to worry about.

Weitering is ok. Up and down a lot and now in his 4th season so you’re expecting a lot from a no.1 pick. They need a lot more from Marchbank and one of their best players is last years no.1 pick.

They’re just a very very poor performing club right now and Bolton is just not getting it done. I haven’t seen heaps of GC and Brisbane but what I have seen is that they are very mobile, quick, good skills, and set up really well defensively. I mean Weitering needs to be better than say Harris Andrews right? But the reality is, the no.1 pick from the 2015 draft is really struggling and not getting anywhere.

I’m not sure you have watched us play in 2019.

Weitering has been excellent in all our games, especially today.

Ditto Liam Jones

McKay has the most contested marks of any player ever for first 3 rounds of a season, though wasn’t great today.

Gibbons - yeah not up to it, but we a free hit. Not sure why we got him when we are crying out for a small forward

Big issue is we barely have any good players aged between 24-29 which is where the core of most good sides lies.

Well they’re obviously not horrendous. They seem to be doing enough right now to close out the tight ones. Adelaide on the road would be like a GF for them next week, nothing like pressure on to see if they can deliver under those conditions.

GC have played 4 sides people would of universally picked to be bottom 6.

They have done well but they have started seasons well before

Wooh wooh wooh, that’s the greatest list manager the world has ever seen your talking about .
Just ask ANY Carlton fan , they tell you .
The mans a Demi god.

Carlton fans don’t actually care their team hasn’t actually improved one bit since sos arrived .
They count success by how many high draft picks sos can aquire.

One day , one day they ll be a super team full of super talented first round draft picks , no team will get near them
I thought the measure of success was how many GWS rejects and how many of his own kids he could get to play for them?

The thing in your favour is that you’re not getting annihilated, which is good, but man, you’ve got to win something in the next month.

And that's after a 5/5 jump start courtesy of Clarko.

Bailey was tanking and can be removed from the record book. Bolton has truly earned that 3rd spot. Unless Carlton is tanking too which you can never rule out but I am afraid they actually trying to be relevant.

All that says to me is how bad their list management is... I can name about 5 of them who actually play like "first round picks"
Takes a heck of a lot of effort to turn at team that has been down for what feels like almost forever.

Their personnel on field needs to be 50% better than the opposition to have a chance of winning, simply to overcome the losers mentality that us ingrained in them. And I say that with no disrespect.

So is Ed the star up forward or the young susperstar forward? Trying to follow.
Charlie is the supposed star up forward and McKay is the supposed other star.

Either way. Both over hyped.

But then again so is the whole club

Hmmm, SOS has done ok, not perfect though. Most rational Carlton fans would say he's had a few misses and has been no good at bringing in some mature support for the kids. He's certainly better than what we had previously.

Bolton on the other hand, is a terrible coach. In 4 years has failed to build a system or definable style of play. John Barker is another one who needs to go. Players are sick of his jargon and rhetoric, so are the fans.

And that's after a 5/5 jump start courtesy of Clarko.

At Carlton he has 15/70 for a 21% win rate. Hasnt been able to develop the talent brought in with teams like Brisbane flying past them. He has protected the players too much from criticism. I think he is a lot closer to being pushed than it may seem

Yeah, they've no doubt recruited some talented players but I reckon he coaches the flair out of them. They can defend but they can't score, and when they free it up they get flogged. Bolton's struggling to progress to the next level.

Pyke for mine.
Crows seems directionless and no Plan B or C and so many good players under performing.
The assistants need a clean out - Ben Hart great defender is a forwards coach?
Crouch boys, Rory, Laird and Milera are going all right.
Betts, Jenkins, Gibbs, Sauce, Mckay, Douglas, Lynch, Tex all off the boil.

Maybe call time on Eddie, Douglas, Sauce and Otten.

No chance they’ll sack Bolton tommorow.
Probably not but the club will be feeling huge amounts of pressure to do something. Even if they don't publicly come out and say that's it, their minds may be made up today and will just wait it out.

Trading out those pre-draft state league selections was a strange decision I thought when a couple of ready to go players would have been handy
