Next Collingwood Captain?

He jibs contests and he “kicks”. I have seen both more than once. He has the ability but not the brain or the heart to captain Collingwood. I can’t see him being a leader of men.

As much as I love him......I tend to agree.

However most superstar's come good. Do you think he's persona will change?

I’d rather he was a hard nut and disciplined as well as a gifted player but they are rare. I don’t much worry about Didak’s deficiencies. His attributes make him one of our most valuable players. I’d much rather deal with less talented players with similar downsides and get our hardness and leadership elsewhere.

Also I am confused, Didak is not captain material partly because he is untidy with his feet?

Surprised his name hasn't come up yet, but Eddie said a couple of years ago Tarkyn Lockyer would be the next Collingwood captain. Hasn't really excelled since though and might struggle to get a game next season. If it's just a 2-3 year transition thing to replace Bucks with another long-term captain it would have to be Jimmy. If they want someone younger than probably Josh.

I thought he meant footskills.
He is a bit sloppy but it's hardly a crime, just something he does to annoy players.
I don't think he is captain material myself. Definately "leadership group" material but then again who isn't?
If you want to look at the king of sloppiness is terms of attacking other players look at Beau Waters. People say ohh he's a young tough nut, that is true but he regularly puts himself in situations where he shouldn't be in, barging in at a contest with a players head over the ball without any real plan of getting the ball, I'm not calling him a sniper, he is just a really sloppy player in this respect.
