That's not true. Hurley and Carlisle are not natural leaders and are actually fairly shy kids in many ways. Zaka is a bit of a smartarse.
Heppell is the only one who drags an ordinary TAC cups side into the finals then single handedly wins the prelim with over 40 possies and a few goals. On top of that he takes the 3/4 time address to fire up the troops.
Nothing in the histories of any player, excluding what I am sorry to say is at its kindest nothing more than guess work of fans, suggests that you're right. On you're last criteria you can include Melksham in the group as well as he played a blinder in a GF that got his side over the line (and was sent to Japan with Zaharakis as part of some leadership program the club was running).
