Stepped up to be one of the better Rebels with some really eye-catching highlights in the middle two teams. He used his pace to run down the wing and break the lines, then pickpocketed an opposition dangerous kick in board, only to miss the set shot. He made no mistake by crumbing a Rentsch attempted mark to snap and goal, with another snap on goal missing to the left. In the third term, Scott took a nice mark and nailed the set shot from 35m out, then won a free kick on the wing for being bumped high front on later in the term, and backed himself with a kick inboard to a two-on-one which worked out.

VD any idea what position he plays? From the write up he sounds like a high half forward?

Perhaps it could be as simple as the fact Raak is more of a list need than the others, or Raak looked closer to the level than the others, meaning it was worth giving him one more year in hopes of him getting to a level where we'd be comfortable drafting him.

NGA allows for players to be drafted under the system at 19 years old
So since Dawson and Peters are turning 21 this year, they are out of the draft protection range but still rated by the club

So i listed them since they would likely be playing for Footscray this year

Correct, but if he isn't selected in the mid-season dtraft we still hold the rights during the national draft
