Mainly high forward
Played a bit of midfield in 2019
I've been doing a bit of catch up reading on the Drafts board and quite a few of the watchers have given Blake a wrap.
Davo-27 has even squeezed him into his early top 20 although let's hope he doesn't go that early.

It would be great if he could hone his forward craft and become that crumbing forward we have needed for so long.

Blake Scott sounds like an interesting prospect.

Sam Chatfield played in the Hampden league and kicked two goals for Hamilton Kangaroos against Port Fairy.

Siddharth Rajesh playing footy in Queensland this year
Ethan Councillor played 6 Games for Darwin Buffaloes this year while kicking 6 Goals and 2 Games for Tiwi Bombers
Will be playing in the Horsham District Football League this year

Craig Cooper-Peters and Lachlan Dawson playing VFL this year

Future Prospects:

Deegan Craig-Peters playing for Redan Football Netball Club 2022 Prospect
Tynan Craig-Peters for Redan Football Netball Club 2023 Prospect
Luamon Lual: First game for South Warrnambool Football Netball Club: 2 Goals Second Best on Ground
Pwoch Akoch: Yet to play this year (He is super talented basketball player so might be playing footy mid year)

I didn’t know Pwoch decided to take up Football. Really agile for his size.

I was just wondering because he played in our Nga trial games a few years ago
Not every junior kid who plays in those trial games is actually Bulldogs eligible. The NGA is an academy to teach promising players around the different zones, but only the members of the academy who are indigenous or have a parent who was born overseas or speaks a foreign language as their main language, are eligible to be drafted as a priority by the Dogs.

be nice to get more indigenous players at the club
Its great to have diversity which can lead to greater opportunities to being a destination club.
But for me to get the next flag ( quoted from one of the NBA powerhouse teams) "you're part of the solution or part of the problem"

Its all about the red white and blue for me.

Draft Central round 2 notes on Blake Scott.
The exciting Western Bulldogs NGA prospect was a lively figure forward of centre for GWV, often using his pace to break the play open and generate good energy inside attacking 50. He built into the game well, with his sole goal coming in the second term. Scott broke into acres of space and eventually latched onto a long kick over the top before slotting his dribbled shot. He has a good nose for goal and with such electric speed and agility, is able to create well with ball in hand.

What is his background? Indigenous, born abroad?

Just googled Blake Scott and it seems to suggest he models himself on Charlie Cameron. Sadly the Rebels website won’t open to see the full profile.

Now all we need is for Scott not to be picked in the first 20... go well but not too well.

Sounds perfect for our list.

Would be nice to get one more free hit before it becomes pretty much redundant next year when it becomes top 40 where you can’t match. Surely it could just stay at top 20, the problem is when teams get top end talent for cheap (like us 🤪)

Interestingly Ewan McPherson and Cody Raak are both performing strongly in the NAB league also. I believe we still have priority access to both and the fact that they trained with us over the summer shows we still have some interest.
The problem we have is making room on our list, so unless we do a bit of a list rejuvenation at the end of the year we probably won't have spots available for them.
Corey Preston who also trained with us has had a good start to the season too although sadly we have no claim to him.

We're going to see teams hiding eligible players or playing them completely out of position.

This is Luke's boy?
2 meters already🤘🤘
KPD/Back up ruck that can take on smaller opponent's in foot races🤤🤤

Oakland Chargers
14 Sam Darcy
One of the tallest, and one of the lightest players on-field, for a 200 centimetre odd player Darcy moved remarkably well around the contests, backing his speed a few times to take on smaller opponents in foot races. Looked good in the back half, taking some commanding grabs and using the ball well by foot, also filling in as a relieving ruck and using smart body positioning to get the advantage and control the taps.

For those interested, Sam Chatfield will be playing here for Hamilton Kangaroos all year apparently. VitalDread you listed his round 1 stats. What game was that from and who'd he play for?
