Wasnt sure where to post this, Absolutely enormous partnership in progress in the Qld Premier Cricket 1st grade final. Good thing the Final is played over 4 days. Burdon down the order where he should be batting rather than been shoehorned in to opening for the Bulls.

Shield final suggests something needs to be done. We can't keep having sub 200 innings being the norm.

It was late March lots of rain around in the lead up which affected the prep and the pitch did a bit day one and two. But it was a 5 day game and aside from McAndrew getting one to keep a fraction low the pitch didn’t seem to get anyone out. The ball was still moving off the pitch and it has definitely changed but the core issue is still the way we are developing or rather not developing batsman who are up to the right of long form cricket.
