Was it only a grade game?... plenty of Indian youngsters have done similar things over the year only to do nothing at international level.

Huh? Don't know what you are talking about. NSW first grade is better quality than a lot of FC competitions around the world...

Hunt made three tons in his first five shield rounds last season, one from one already this, that is why he has to be in the conversation. Technique and temperament will be needed against the Poms. Hunt has both over Weatherald. Then again the selectors may want Weatherald to adopt a Duckett type role so not ruling out him. Tim Ward also after his incredible last season, tho he does now bat #3 for Tassie. Renshaw is back in the frame too.

Can you be as inconsistent as Hunt is and be said to have good temperament? Temperament seems to have evolved to mean bat really slowly which I don't think this current Australia team needs more of.
