It feels like the batting gets worse by the Shield round. Almost like any bowler should come in and average under 30 with the ball straight away.

Just saying it's expected these days, for the record 39 bowlers in the Shield averaging under 30, stats are skewed a bit with one gamers and what not but still.

Only two regular pace bowlers averaging over 30:
Jackson Bird- 7 games, 19 wickets @30.78
Ryan Hadley- 6 games, 12 wickets @34.25
