I'm the president of the "Chris Judd is seriously overrated by the media" club. Am I the only one that would be satisfied to see Juddy go anywhere else except Geelong?

I think he would bring an instablility to the playing group which has developed so well this year. The last thing the club needs is more back of house bickering.

NO. YOU ARE CERTAINLY NOT THE ONLY ONE!!!!

Yes, I'd be very satisfied. If you ever want proof that most members of the media are sheep without the capacity for independent thought, just look at them frothing at the mouth about Judd this week.

He is a fantastic player, no doubt at all. But he doesn't exist on a higher plane, and I don't believe that any one midfielder is that much better than the rest. Personally I think Kerr has been more effective for at least the last 2 years, and this year Harvey, Ablett, Bartel, Hodge, and both Cornes brothers have been superior. That's the reality. I would prefer a gun key position player any day of the week, as they are so much harder to fine. Midfielders, for all the jerking off that is going on, are quite plentiful. He didn't win West Coast a flag on his own, they had a pretty good team to begin with.

jeez... some of my fellow cats fans must be sniffing glue to knock back chris judd so quickly out of hand.
I'm not sure if I could bring myself to trade Hawkins, because he has "star" written all over him, but I'd consider it... If I could talk WCE into taking N.Ablett than I'd be down for that...

And which one of our AA midfielders would he replace? Is he that much better than any of our mids that we would give a possible future star CHF and draft picks away? I think not!!!

Why would we want Judd? There is no doubt he would improve our team but it effectively means a current AA has to make way. I have zero interest in increasing salary cap pressure to improve an already strong area.

Not to mention we would be trading away possibly the most talented KP player to come through the system since Lockett. Whether or not he realizes that talent remains to be seen but even still it shouldn't be traded away lightly.

In answer to the OP question. It will just be a minor reshuffle. We will probably have:

Chapman N.Ablett S.Johnson
Hawkins Mooney Stokes

But we can frequently rest one of Nath or Hawkins for a small like Varcoe, Kelly or Rooke. It will give us more options to stretch teams and create mismatches like Collingwood do.

How has Matthew Spencer gone at Geelong? He would have been with you guys for some 3 years, right. I used to see him running around in the WAFL colts, i think Swan Districts, has he played a game and will he be delisted or traded or kept. Just keen to know where the kid is at, not as a recruit, but just in general. Good luck tonight!

Yep, Swan Districts is correct.
He'll probably be delisted, he has only played 2 AFL games in two or three years and isn't improving too much.
He has no trade value.

Cheers FTW, agree that will be delisted and unless he has been outstanding in the VFL, which i have no idea, you would think he would be delisted, is he a KPP or ruck, like in colts?

Plays in the backline I think, wouldn't think he'd be a ruckman cause I reckon he looks too solid.
I never notice him when I watch the VFL so I assume it's because he doesn't do anything that great.
Tiny bit of info on him here, debuted in 06.
