This is my tip for surprise improvement:

Big improvers:
Whitlock
Ramm
Stephensen

Steady improvers:
Jones
Berry
Moraes


Slight improvers:
JHF
Bergman
Burgoyne
Luko
Richards
Sinn
Visentini
Wehr
Durdin
Watkins

I like that list. If that happened we would be in the top four for sure. But I am looking for the biggest improvement to come from the backline. I've noticed that the club seems to be moving towards adding a bit more height with athletic ability. Ramm, the movement of Marshall to the back, and the change of coaching there... I think that area of the ground was the most neglected. It was like the midfield had to protect it by making sure the ball didn't go there...

I think everywhere on the field needs work. I guess that’s what happens when you have an injury ravaged year playing Stinkball.

I hope Carr and the coaching panel make some bold decisions. Realistically we won’t win the flag this year, so I hope game day decisions are made over a 2 year plan. Ie getting games into certain folks.

I actually think Watkins, Wehr and Richards will go up a level and should play our wings, with Burgoyne going back.

I think there could be umpteen surprise packets.. a fresh message can have that impact.

Haven't been to a training session yet this pre season but from what I'm hearing and reading at least there's been a lift in intensity. Wouldn't be hard given previous years' circle work supervised by the two fat controllers Hinkley and Davies watching on the sidelines holding hands.
I hope the whole season is a surprise packet.
