with Neitz and Rivers comin back, who gives way?

Godfrey is the obvious choice and then?

Holland if he is suspended....i havnt seen it, is it bad? the media aint really talkin about it so im sure its minor. also im confident that miller's lil incident wont get taken 2 seriously

if not then maybe Bell? with rivers and whelan back he may not be needed in defence. but then again loosing 2 midfielders for 2 KPP may be a bit of a gamble

I watched Sandy today... and Paul Johnson dominated. He took some strong contested marks, went for a gallop on several occasions and kicked 2 goals. He must come in for Jamar.

Ins. PJ, Rivers, Neitz
Out. Jamar, Bell, Godfrey

Yeah I rate Peej above Jamar, especially for the fact that he has so little experience but seems to be handling it OK.
Ditto to those changes. Give Belly a chance to fully overcome the injury (I think he copped another one in the same place on Friday night).

Miller and Holland are off the hook, so I would have Neitz and Rivers back in, with Godfrey and Bell out. Bell has been very good since his debut but I think a break in the VFL would do him some good. If PJ has been in good form I would have Jamar out because Jamar has had very little impact this year. I’m sure some of you are fans of his but when he was re-signed this year I was a bit disappointed as I would think he could be trade bait. Hopefully though he picks up his game and starts playing some really good footy because if White ever gets injured we are in the serious deep sh*t until PJ or Jamar fully develop.

with big guys like Johnson and Jamar and maybe even nick smith they will take a while to develope

we can only hope that they develope into decent ruckman that can hold up the fort till another white comes along :)

on the demons site it was talking about rivers possibly playing in the VFL also that neitz and read were in contention for selection for the dees.

go there for full article but in short he was saying that wheaters, fergy and nicho have been doin the job so he didnt feel he needs to change it.

but then think about it he is gunna have to come back at some stage as he is one of if not our best defender..... i'd say bring him back for bell so bell can get a good 4 qtrs under his belt down at sandringham

I say why not give Rivers a crack up forward, give him chance to develop his play and refresh him from having to take on the backmen all the time. Maybe drop Jamar and use Miller in the ruck for 5 minutes a quarter.

If Rivers doesn't play we will need Miller down back which I would not prefer because the Roos will play Rocca, Thompson and Petrie up forward and they are all players who are 192+. Rivers should play unless he isn't match fit but he should because we will need him down back and give Miller more time up forward.

I think from the named team that Chris "Why is he still here?" Heffernan, Godfrey and Bell will all be put on the emergency list.

Rivers, Heffernan and Bell are the emergencies. Anyone think Godfrey is a chance for a late withdrawal for Rivers? It would be nice to have him and leave Miller at CHF because the Roos will play a 3 tall forward line, and with Brent Harvey, Shannon Grant and Corey Jones at ground level it may be a bit of a pain to match up.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rivers being left out is a message to say he has to earn his spot, it isn't automatically his, just to keep to keep him honest. I would imagine he would definately be back for Collingwood.

I hope its just Daniher playing with the minds of North, then bring him in last minute for Heffernan.
