think ill get on the smith wagon, i traded a cash cow in last week, got rid of Alwyn davey and someone else and got Tredrea and Cleve Hughes.

might sell another Cashcow defender (ellis or boyle) and get smith.

Even if he scored 200 you will be better off in the the long run, he is a dead set dud.

Im getting Smith for Bock. He is the Kangaroos Qtr Back. And now with Wellsy gone i think hell be thrown in the midfield as well.

Right, so, it's time to jump on the bandwagon. With Goddard injured, i want to trade him out for Smith and there are some things i would like to know.

1. Is this his level or is he playing WAY out of his league?
2. Is he consistent?
3. Is he injury prone?

He's been regarded by kangas fans as the next big thing. He has been out for a fair period of time with injuries, but you'd be crazy not to get him this wk before his price jumps up. He will constantly be scoring anywhere upward from 80 points I feel.

He should get a game for the rest of the year..

Thanks mate. I was always going to get him this week, but initially i was going to trade out Toovey (who has done well for a cash cow) and bring in another cash cow. But now, with Goddard down, i need someone who can do consistently well, not looking for 100+ every week, but if he does average 75-80 that would be great for his price.

Plus, i can upgrade several players with the price difference.

Yeah thanks mate. I just stated that i wasn't looking for 100s, although they would be nice, but an average of 75-80 would be perfect considering his price.

I know he is coming back from injury, but an ankle problem doesn't exactly hang on like luggage, opposed to say a hammy problem.

He does look a good investment.

Ill probably trade Bock for him. Even if he only gets 40s it will be the same as Bocks output and will give me money to upgrade someone else.

If he stays fit theres no reason why he wouldnt play every game from now on.

I'm thinking of trading Kosi for him so I can upgrade Bock to Riewoldt in my forward line, then Edwards to Chapman the following week. It will mean JWS has to start every week but i can't have Bock any longer.

I’m in the same situation. I have Bock, might trade him out to get Smith. But I honestly thought Bock showed signs of improvement last week, and considering we’re playing the Tigers this week he might start hitting form again. Really tough one.

Well I've jumped on the third bandwagon in three weeks. Hopefully one of them will come off. Petterd, Hughes and now Smith. I wasn't going to make a trade this week but the injury to Goddard forced my hand. Traded X Clarke for Smith and Goddard for H Shaw. Wanted to make the H Shaw trade and needed to clear some money so Smith helps out there. Ended up with about 100k left over which I might sit on for a while .

I was a bit concerned with trading out Clarke as he could have a spike in his points with Goddard gone from the backline of the Saints.

But you would think smith would easily get to bocks current price, therefore if you ridded him you would pocket an extra 140k and when the time comes that smith gets 220k + you will have that 140k to upgrade him to an elite player....

im seriously considering doing this, major risks but everyone has major raps for this fella, and with a 100 in the bank for 2 weeks at least he will sky rocket.

I've got Ellis too, but there's a chance he could play some more games this season.

I've also got Riggio, and he won't play again this season IMO. I might just have to bite the bullet and get Smith for Riggio.
