In all seriousness, geez there are some terrible teams.

Don't really care where we finish next year.

Have to get games into Lalor, Smillie, Hotton, Harry, Gibbo, Sims and the 2 x 1sts like we have with Jonty and Trainor this year.

Another 20 games into Brown, Banks, Rioli and Seth and we should be primed to make an early finals push in 2027.

I think we have a brief resurgence next year to say 12th and 8 wins, and then fall back in 2027. 2027 probably see Prestia, Vlastuin, Lynch, Short, Broad and Nank all gone or very close to the end. Need to get Banks, Brown, etc to 100 games asap so that experience drop off isn't catastrophic.

I think they are all replaceable now apart from Nank maybe. Prestia shouldnt be playing with Hopper and Taranto in the team as it is. Weve looked fine without Lynch the last 3 weeks and our young forwards are only going to get better. With Campbell, Hotton, Lalor all playing forward/mid we will be dangerous up forward very soon.

Short has definetly helped since coming back, but was awful for 18 months previous, Trainor in 2-3 years will be perfect to replace Vlas. Then we have all of Balta/Gibcus/Gray to replace Broad.

I don't think we should be falling back in 2027 and that's even without recruiting any big names from other clubs. Of course that does rely on our youngsters actually getting on the park.

Probably got Gold Coast right cos the CFL with give them double ups against Tigers, West Coast Essington and North for a start even though they finished the season 6th which means they should play all the top 8 sides twice not the bottom 4 but let’s see what dream fixture they get given to give em another leg up next year.
