Heard that there's a kid from the Knights called Stewart not sure of his first name, starts with a J, could be picked up when eligible. Short but quick, disposal is ****house at time but can tag well and abuse the umpire all day long

mckindley not that good r u kidding? best and farest in league nearly every year or somehting? not good? wait he will b top 10 draft pick forshores.

i saw that stewart kid play a year or two bak... it was a grand final... he tagged Nick Carnell and absoluetly took him to the cleaners, carnel bearly got a touce. Morgan a very good player and a good chance of a high pick.

ive played on the stewart kid b4 i recall taking a good mark in the forward pocket on him. Has no idea and cant read the play. He cannot kick at all and does not shut up which gets him hated and bashed.

From what i have seen of this stewart kid he looks a good prospect... very good footy brain and no's how to dominate his opponent.

David Mitchell #1 (Yarrambat JFC) - Short, Slow, Tough under-rated midfielder who will struggle to play AFL. He is the same mould as a Sam Mitchell and has a good footy brain. He is a good mark for his size and is a proven goal-kicker. Would be a handy forward pocket - tough nut midfeilder for a team like Melbourne which could dearly use him.

Jeff Stewart #12 (Montmerency FC) - Short, Fast, over-rated backpocket player who is an ok tagger but has shocking disposal and couldn't get a game for the Dimboola 3rd's if he needed to hit a target or kick a drop punt. Is an ok mark and is hard at the footy - but very soft if challenged by another player. Loved by supporters for his arrogant mouthing off towards opposition players, supporters and umpires while hated by opposition for this same reason. Should struggle to play AFL.

Travis Cloke played one game for U18 Eastern Ranges, probably filling in for the lads who were playing at the U18 carnival at the time.

i ran into him at the crown after the collingwood richmond game ???. i am from perth and was only visiting at the time.
I was sure it was him because he had the blond hair, tall and a collingwood jacket PLUS (and more importantly) he had a mighty fine girlfriend.

He is pretty tall and looked quite well built - not stodgy like Jason more muscular (without sounding tooo gay).
Looks to be more a marketable player with more athletic ability.

Took him to the cleaners???

Carnell had 13 possesions in the last QTR to secure a 5 goal victory after trailling by 23 points 10 minutes in the 3rd QTR.

He will be drafted.

Morgan is a gifted footballer, reads the play well, great kick and mark.

But he is an outside player and SOFT.

I suppose Jeff WHite is still an AFL player though.

i'm a clader fan, will may, maric, davis, j.d smith, and some other 17year olds this year that played all games get drafted this year or next? :S

i know that may, betts and davis out of the 17 year olds played for vic metro this year and all did well.

Carnell had those 13 touches playing loose man in the backline. Btw, Boro were up by a fair way by that stage. They kicked 10 goals to 1 in the 2nd half. Mont were about 2-3 goals up at half time. And if you think Morgan is soft, get a flipping grip. Who are you anyway, as a matter of interest?

Gawd what happened to his tagger??

As a matter of interest, I coach in the DVJFL.

Ask some of the Monty boys about what they think.

You will be very surprised.

Depends on whether the rule change to ages goes through or not.

Brendan Van Schank

It's Brendan Van Schaik.

200cm, pretty mobile for his size. I would say he'd definitely get picked up this year or next.

With reference to the tagger I'd say Mont wouldn't have wanted him tagging a defender, it would have crowded their forward line too much.

I'm a Monty boy (older than Morgan, Carnell et al) but don't think Morgan is soft. Wouldn't call him a hard nut by any stretch, but not soft. Mark Lynch from G/Boro is what you call soft and if you want to apply your Tarzan/Jane saying, he is the man.

So you are older than Carnell , you ****en smart prik , so tell me MONTY boy , how many all Australian jumpers have you reveived ??? Are you on an AFL list seeing that you are older. no cant comment, did you get the best player in the under 16 metro list? at the national carnival???

See the comparison is obvious! A never was against Jet . You dont rate him... Sorry the knights do.As well as the AFL talent scouts.

Edit: Please don't avoid the swear filter.

Mate if you read one of my previous posts you will see how highly I rate Carnell as a footballer. "Most dedicated junior footballer I've seen" or something along those lines. Read everything before you act next time.

One I liked the look of in the TAC was Nathan Anderson from Nth Ballarat Rebels. 193cm 96kg. Turned 17 last week. For a big kid he moves very well and knows how to play footy.

Jesse W. Smith from Clader Cannons. (Son of North Melbourne's Ross Smith?) will be an absolute gun. Turned 17, 2 weeks ago. I think will go under father/son rule.

Chris Egan (187cms) from Murry Bushrangers will be an early pick if he keeps progressing in 2004 the way he has in 2003. Still to turn 17. Birthday on Oct 26th.

Everybody is allowed to have their say so mine is that there is one bloke that nobody has mentioned. Wouldn't surprise if he is pick 1 in the draft if not won't go higher than 5, definaltely the toughest out of the lot and blessed with great guts and and huge b*lls.
A great mate of mine so watch out for Colin Sylvia.

This thread is for the players that will be drafted next season.
Sylvia will be drafted this year and I agree that he will go early.
There plenty of positive comments on Colin Sylvia if you want to do a search

There is a list of option buttons for each board and the search option is located there. Just enter Sylvia and the board that you want to search.
Suggest that you search this board as there has been a couple of mock drafts where Sylvia has been mentioned.
You can also search the Bulldog board because I know there has been a bit mentioned about him.
After the trade period is over next Friday there will be a lot of mock drafts available.
Stay tuned
