Getting in early for the first bet of NFL in 2023. Currently the most rushing yards for a QB in a season is Lamar Jackson with 1,206 yards. Justin Fields currently has 1,011 yards with 2 games remaining and twitter talk is he wants this record. Justin Fields averages 72.2 yards per game and needs another 196 yards for the record in the remaining 2 games.

Playing against the Detroit Lions on Monday morning who are 28th out of the 32 teams for rushing yards allowed per game at 145.9 yards. Lions allowed 96 yards from Miles Sanders, 90 from Jalen Hurts, 151 from Rashaad Penny & 78 from Josh Allen. When these 2 teams played earlier this season Justin rushed for 147 yards.

1u - Fields 90+ rushing yards @ $2.65
1u - Fields 100+ rushing yards @ $4.00
0.5u - Fields 110+ rushing yards @ $7.25
0.5u - Fields 125+ rushing yards @ $12.00

Total Outlay 3u - All at SB

Agreed. I wanted to get the rushing yards bet in early as SB prices were quite a bit higher than the other books. I don’t want to overexpose my bets to one player so probably won’t take this one.

Run Justin Run!!! He rushed for 132 yards in the game! He had 104 yards in the first 6 minutes, I thought he might be on track for 200+ for the game but ended on 132 yards and all my bets won! I can't take all the credit for this bet, there was certainly some talk on twitter for this one, after doing my own research I bet it. Fields only needs 64 yards next game to get the record, I think his rushing line will be somewhere around 70-75 so I won't be betting that one next week because he won't need all those yards to get the record.

Anyway, very very good start to the betting year for me. I made a nice profit betting sports overall for 2022 but not in NFL, that was by far my worst performing sport last year so hoping for a better year in 2023.

Last round of the regular season, something to consider from a Bonus scheme incentive performance for the season:

Jaguars v Titans Week 18

The first straight for Kirk is based off a player incentive. He'll get a bonus $500k if he can get 91 yards. Henry should get a lot of work. He's had 121+ in 5 of his last 7 vs the Jags. He's had 150+ 3 times int he last 7, as well as a TD of 6/7. He's had 2+ TDs in 4 of his last 7 vs them too.

The $6.27 at PointsBet is great value. The other multi is more of a long shot chance in case Henry goes off that I'm more than willing to sprinkle in a division clinching game.

Please don't go crazy here because I know this is a lot for one game but I'm just using the winnings from the cricket the last few days.

Christian Kirk for 90+ Receiving Yards at $3.60

Same Game Multi

Derrick Henry 125+ Rushing Yards
Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown
Tennessee Titans +10.5 spread

Odds: $6.27

Derrick Henry 2+ TouchDowns
Derrick Henry 150+ Rushing Yards
Titans to Win

Odds: $26

There is a bit of rain predicted for Buffalo the day before the game and I may possible look at prop bets there. Having said that last time it snowed in Buffalo between those two teams and it was a 32-29 scoreline.

True, but the snow came late in the 4th quarter so didn't have too much of an effect.

Keep in mind Tua started for the Fins last time too, he has already been ruled out this week and Thompson will start. Last week Thompson & co put up 11 points against the Jets in a must win game to make playoffs… If they put up near 29 points again against this Bills team I’ll eat my hat

zero chance the dolphins beat the bills with thompson. zero.
Just wish they offered slightly better odds for the Bills/Bengals double. Cincy will torch the Ratbirds without Lamar too.

A real shame to see a couple playoff teams going in with backups, sucks for the spectacle
