Wow! This thread died a death, as a result of George leaving, I guess?
I was rooting for the Lions this weekend, and I thought the difference between their last drive yesterday and LA's last drive today was telling. I know LA lost, but it was still an impressive drive: with no time outs, Stafford was able to execute a couple of plays within 10 seconds with the clock running; and he went long to hit a 30-yard pass on one play. Yesterday, Goff spiked the ball at least twice instead of ad libbing a play, and his passes were short as the game clock ran down. Just too safe. I thought their speed of play was slow all day, compared to the urgency of both LA and Philly today.

Incredible pace and power. They're a well balanced team, as much as I hate to say it. But I love it when NY teams suck, so that's great!

Yeah I watched hard knocks of giants postseason and how they handled the Barkley trade. It’s great they backed Jones over Barkley and now both are gone.

Quite a few, but George was the camp captain and he left due to, ah, editorial differences during the off season. Seems like this thread fell by the wayside. Hopefully a few might come back. Probably not George! But he is a massive Eagles fan, so he'd be happy right now.

I'm glad the Bills won. Hate all the other remaining teams!

Super Bowl who are we all on and why ?.
 
I remember at one point during the Patriots dynasty that it just got ridiculous to pick against them. That’s where I’m at with Kansas City, a lot of people keep looking for reasons why they’ll lose and they just keep piling up the trophies. I think they get the first three-peat in NFL history.

Agreed. Why bet against them? Felt like the Bills game was never in doubt despite how close it was. They just get it done.
 
Hoping Philly win. Dunno why, but I've always had an affinity for Philadelphia sporting teams, I think I admire how retarted their fans are.

I'm not a big NFL guy, I watch more college football than NFL by a significant amount, but I'll be tuning into the Superbowl of course, and I'm gonna try and get tickets to the MCG to watch the NFL game next year. If the Eagles are indeed coming to town, it might push me to buy some of their merch lol
