Saw the banyule game. Wow Morang look very heavy and a lot slower than yulers. Physically they match it but I think the age of a few blokes is catching up to them. Don't look as youthful and speedy as previous years

In any case why would he be sacked so early in the season. The club knew what they were getting from last season surely.

Surely it's not performance related the club sits 2nd on the ladder. Must be an off field problem. getting suspended isn't a great look. What did he get suspended for?

Pretty sure has been on the harness racing scene in WA for years. Will be interesting to see if he brings his son Gary Hall Jnr along.

Perhaps someone on the inside could provide the back story to his termination ?
Spoke to the man himself at the game Saturday and other than being dirty on being suspended and Morang losing, he gave no indication his neck was on the block. Morang went into the game 3-0, equal top and whilst they faded in the back half of the Banyule game they were right in it at half time. What changed so dramatically in 12 hours ?

Jeez what would Morang be like without Meghamez, Pavitt, Harrison up forward without the recruiting of outsiders....by sacking an outsider as a coach, will they not be playing their outsider players as well that weren't bred from Morang...hmmmm has to be more to it

You hit the nail on the head you goose..you and your little birdy need to be put down. Grainger was sacked because of management issues, nothing more , nothing less . His suspension played a big part of it, and the way he went about it cost him his job . You need to get a new little birdy , because the one you have now is full of s**t

I spoke to someone close within the club, dean was sacked cos of the way he managed his suspension and other managing issues. If the club is sending out a message to everyone involved around there that they are fair dinkum about the way they are heading towards the future and that they want to have a red hot go and a good culture , then i applaud the sacking. It's gotta start from the top for the rest to follow
