Upping the price every year doesn't entice customers. I pay for a lot of services ... when they are affordable for the quality they provide. NFL Gamepass however, is not valued affordably.

$200 is OK, $300 is a joke - the first year I subscribed I think it cost me $180 (~4-5 years ago).

I get that but I wonder what the right price for the apples would be to prevent someone just taking them without paying.

You could make GamePass a third the price and I have no doubt a lot of the people would still not join. Me thinks, many just use the price of GamePass as an excuse to justify their pirating ways.

And if I sound a bit soft bellied on it, I probably am, since I do digital intellectual property commercialisation for a living.

I've paid for it before when I had the same pirating options available but the price has increased to the point where it is no longer economically justifiable for me. So that argument doesn't hold any water with me.

* game pass. I used to have it, and league pass with NBA. Having ESPN is cool because of redzone. You see all the major plays from each game. I'm not sitting through 3 and a half hours of time outs, flags and video reviews. As for the NBA I just watch the NBA finals and a few playoff games here and there. Will record a few normal games throughout the season and watch when I have time. Sitting through it live is a waste of time.

NFL - LMAO. At least with footy and soccer you actually see teams play. NFL is what, 10-15 minutes of actual sport.

Idiocy.

Fair enough, but the NFL is a business first, it's not a national public health system, they have no obligation to make game telecasts available for all like some public service. Capitalism at its worst.

Since i don't subscribe to any other services outside of Foxtel I argue that the cost is justifiable even though it is relatively expensive compared to other content....and I probably get a lot more out of it than most fans as well since I download a lot of games to watch when flying...some weeks as many as 10 replays.

Haven't had it for the past year and it didnt bother me going without surprisingly.. Thought id struggle not watching my teams game live but when both the Panthers and Red Zone are on i end up watching more of red zone anyway.

Instead of watching the replay of Carolina's game on a Monday night, i just wait for a mate to download the game onto my portable hard drive on Monday night and i watch it on a Tuesday. For $300 less i can live without the replay for 24 hrs.

If the game is biggin it will be the game of the week and broadcast anyway either on 7mate or primtime on ESPN. Can just IQ it if so.

Complete waste of money unless you're moving from continent to continent like Brasher for a living.

In the end this is such a 1st World Problem....you guys should all bow in homage to us "pioneers" who garnered enough interest in the sport back in the day of Don Lane, 30 second highlight packages, waiting for Tuesday to see the scores printed in the newspaper sports results column and buying Top Deck Trading Cards just so you could get a look at the face of your heroes under the helmet.

If not for us, then the NFL wouldn't be trying so hard to rip you all off now.

Steve Salsbury was a pinoeer. Now he speaks utter tripe about the sport on SEN, forgets all the players names and his co-host runs a Doggy Day Care Business, good bless Big fat Shaneo.

Pioneers need to leave the game alone and stop pretending we owe them :p

That's correct...I have an Australian subscription and used it all across South East Asia last year with no need to VPN back to Australia.
Sounds like that might be the way to go then.

Presumably I could just set a VPN up on my phone, pay for it that way and then watch it as per normal.

For those that have done it before, can you pay for it with your normal credit card or Pay Pal etc? Or would the Colombian site require a certain type of payment.

So you know it is 100% their fault then.

Yeah if I didn't have Foxtel I'd probably fork out for it but having ESPN makes it too cost prohibitive.

They aren't running a public health service but they do need to set the price for the market to prevent people moving to other options. They may have figured out that price point and get enough people signing up so that they don't care about people watching via other means but then they can't really complain if people decide to watch streams/torrents instead.

Paid 50 AUD for that S4U service, tried loading NFLN on it, sat spinning loading for 10 minutes. Even after installing the add on for firefox. Tried it on Edge which doesn't need the add on, still spinning. Ugh.

Might do the Columbian VPN thing still if S4U is gonna be like this.

Should've done Hehestreams.

Are they paid subscription as well? How much?

Yes paid. I believe $100 but there are smaller options. I haven't checked in a while.

It’s a bit sketchy during pre season.
Have you tried in chrome?
And do the archived games work?

havent tried chrome. will try now. find Edge to be THE best browser for streaming videos or watching videos/flash of any kind. if it was sketchy (didnt work) there, odds are it'll suck on firefox/chrome.
but let me try chrome and report back.

Sounds good!
I’ve tried NFLN on chrome on my laptop and phone just then and working well on both.
Let me know.

Ah yeah! I can get them on NFL2go, because I was a subscriber last season. And it's translated across to S4U for now.

Can you log in to NFL2go?
Logged in, asks me why should we send you an invite.
I replied....because I'm GG DOT *ingG EXE, and because I bought a subscription from S4U and that site tells me to log into your site.

Why? Just wait for the best VPN purchase price and get the entire pass for less than that. You can sign up to a VPN service just for the trial period then cancel.

I thought the cost was the same in every country last year so purchasing through a VPN was pointless (unlike NBA league pass)
