currently chrome-casting yesterdays game, picture looks great, might even be 1080p ...

I am baffled.

Their support site says this:

Up to 1280x720px at 4.5Mbps or at 6Mbps only for Chromecast and AppleTV
Up to 1600x900px at 4.750Mbps or up to 1980x1080px at 6Mbps only for Chromecast and AppleTV

What I don't get, and have sent a request for confirmation, is why they would limit the resolution?

If I have to buy a Chromecast for 1080p gamepass I will, but makes no sense if my Xbox One X or brand spankin' new Sony/Android telly doesn't do 1080p.

And before anyone asks, my internet streams 4k netflix, amazon and google fine - I think they said it was 15-20Mbps...

nfl originals, click that, then scroll down thru the various shows they do

if its not nfl originals its one of those

Previous seasons are in the NFL originals section. I thought it premiered last night on HBO so was expecting it in there today. Maybe tomorrow I guess.

It only aired on HBO a little over 5 hours ago. History suggests couple days before it’s on Gamepass.

There’s other sites to obtain access to view earlier. “Ten Yard ____ents” for example.

Anyone else having trouble with the app on Android TV? It seems they've changed/updated the app and I downloaded the new app on Apple TV but can't find on the Play store on Sony tv.

there are broadcasting rights, contracts, timed exclusivity rights. it'll pop up on gamepass about 2 or so days from HBO release.

I know dude I'm not a dumbass. Just saying in this day and age people want to see things instantly via a legal source and if not will go via other methods. See: Foxtel showing Game of Thrones same time as US etc.

1. connect to india VPN
2. navigate to gamepass
3. sign in using existing login credentials
4. register for PRO package you'll be quoted $179 AUD
5. go thru the steps and pay
6. when completed, sign out of india vpn and refresh gamepass page

Working for me. But the app is definitely more clunky this year for me. I'm chromecasting from the Android app.
