I was happy with Amazon until they skipped uploading a Ravens game for over two weeks. I only got to see the first half live and then had to work and not being able to watch it drove me insane.
I made more than 3 complaints before cancelling but still no luck

Maybe I'll try youtube next time? Would take a lot to go back to prime for me, even though I prefer their pricing structure

I suspect this is more to do with DAZN than Prime as Prime is simply piggybacking off them, but yeah I'll also be giving YT a go next season if the landscape hasn't changed.

I thought the same thing but you could see the game was available on the DAZN app across multiple devices and not on Prime. Prime only had the short highlights of the game available . As soon as I switched to DAZN I could watch it there.

I didn't bother subscribing, do they have all the extra content through Amazon? The America's Game/Hard Knocks type shows?

Yes, got all the extras as far as I can tell.

Did they also have redzone? I remember reading earlier in the thread they didn't have redzone replays available (maybe it was available live only?)

Redzone live but not on replay

It just means DAZN held them back or forgot to send them over. Amazon are just reseller of it, i dont think they even host any of the videos.

Yep. Which is what I told them in each of my complaints but they still could not resolve it.

Being the first season of the partnership I'm sure it was just a teething issue. I was just pissed I was spending $50 a month and effectively was not getting what I signed up for because an entire game I was heavily invested in was missing

Had it on prime - probably get it direct next year took a while for games to upload especially the 40 minutes ones on Prime and doesn’t have the archive at least from what I can see.

Really enjoyed the full fox broadcast today watched it from 6 this morning

Thank goodness for that. Also read elsewhere that Kayo price went up to $40 a month in January. F*** that! I have a yearly special deal with Foxtel for $52 a month and that’s for every channel plus I get the benefit of recording

It sounds like it will be like ESPN's stuff from Kayo where its the 2 live channels and on demand stuff for most events and stuff like NFL is only short term on demand. but sadly not watchESPN access with the extra events/channels.

Not at all unexpected given they have been putting ESPN on D+ around the world. I would expect an aim will be to launch the hub for the NBA playoffs or finals.
I dont think it changes anything really, just gives more eyeballs to ESPN

You can get that $40pm for Kayo down to $29pm with club digital memberships, downside is it's an upfront payment of $350 with most clubs although Norf have a monthly option, Essendon don't as far as I can see.

Yeah that's what I picked up. Binge + Kayo were $55 odd a month, would rather pay slightly less and not have to worry about streaming.

Also, they're hilarious at Foxtel. My 12 months were up, they tried to renew it for $110 - said I was cancelling - by the end of the phone call, I'd renewed for $55.

I always call just before expiry and say if I can rollover my special deal for being a long time customer and no arguments. Although wondering if they’ll allow next time as now under DAZN

Yep. Initially I signed up just for the sports package and within a month they automatically upgraded me to ultimate for free.

That looks like foxtel now which is a streaming only no set top box and limited to 720p like foxtel Go. because it basically is Go

So early last year I was on special $54 deal that gave me basic, sport and HD.

Then Foxtel from Telstra customers were moved to the Platinum package on March 1, 2024 regardless of what package you were on at the time.

But the kicker was you would be charged for platinum at the current price you were paying, so for me I’m locked in at $54 for the whole lot. Come Nov ‘24 they renewed no arguments.

So poor bastards who were paying $120+ per month for Platinum in March saw their subscription rise to $140 p/m. Crazy shit.

On a residential foxtel you will get every AFL game in 4k. But not with foxtel now.

That list looks like iq5 which you can get over the internet through the box if you can't set up a satellite
