At the moment ESPN is on there, yes.

My yearly check in to see what is happening on this front. Have not signed up since the removal of me being based in Brazil and CUNZ taking over. This new NFL/ESPN deal has me interested in what that might change. Have Kayo so get to see some games at least but would be good to get Redzone if it is anywhere other than CUNZ.

Any word on if / how the sale of NFL Network will affect us?

They could pull it from Gamepass and move it to Disney+. and do the same with redzone or renegotiate a deal where Redzone moves back to an add on for Gamepass. it wont change this season will need FCC approval and that wont be done till next year.

Was watching King of the hill lastnight and checked the ESPN section and last night when Get up was on ESPN that channel disappeared not sure what else gets blacked out on D+. but sounds like the HoF game was there so the NFL issues might of been solved or just because its preseason and nobody cared about enforcing a blackout.

Still havent seen any NFL branding on any ESPN on D+ branding.

Still no email. $55 a month at Amazon for Sep through Dec for me. Playoffs on Fox so only at the mercy of the broadcaster for week 18. One less app I need to worry about.

You shouldnt miss any. Week 1 Kickoff game is Friday Sep 5th. Week 18 will be Monday Jan 5th. even if you wait till the Sunday night on week 1 to start if give it a couple of extra days.

ESPN shut it down at the end of june. so far most of the live events have moved to D+ but there were still some random things missing. like in March/April when ESPN started on D+ there would be days when 1 or 2 NHL games or college stuff were not on D+ but were on WatchESPN. and all the live channels other the ESPN and ESPN2 were not moved over.

but I guess NHL fans might have to feel like NFL fans since DAZN bought their NHL distribution rights for international markets a few weeks ago. but not sure if NHL will stay on D+ or move yet.

Prob. Also ESPN started showing Dutch soccer Sunday mornings so the 2AM games might be cut back again. and then all the UFC shit almost every week taking out almost every primetime game im not sure how the college season will look on the main channels.

not really WatchESPN had them all and ACC/SEC network would get replays of CBS games 12 hrs later if it had a ACC or SEC team as the road team along 60min condensed of games 2 days later. along with classic games on those networks and ESPNU. including the 25 best games from last season ESPNU run every August.

If you only had Kayo sure because they never got WatchESPN access. and ESPN have been showing less and less college games every year because of shit like UFC/MLB or November NBA or NHL games

I can't access any ESPN content on Disney, the tiles are all there but when I go to navigate to something like NBA nothing appears. Is it only the live channel?

That would be because things like NFL ans NBA only have replay rights for 72hrs in ESPN. Not sure how long the replays stay up on other sports. I havent really looked at it beyond a browse but also seems random things get blacked at times.

Hmm that might make sense but I did try and watch games the same day they happened and couldnt access anything. Same if I go to the AEW tile, I select it but nothing is there

That's strange. Is the disney+ account paid/created in another region where ESPN on d+ hasn't launched yet or some parental lock on it? I'm not sure but I think there was a toggle to show the live channels and some sport but couldn't access those settings in app had to use browser. I had a look before and AEW stuff seems to have a 30 day window for VOD

It is, I purchased via a Turkish account as it's cheaper but didn't think there was any geo restrictions as it's based on location you are viewing not where the account is based. Anyhow no big deal other than would've watched College football on it and ditched Kayo, may consider keeping Kayo now.

Things like ESPN somehow are. The tab will show up but content doesn't. I had a look when they moved all the ESPN stuff for south America to Disney last year, and again when it started in the US last December.

Not sure why but they seem to have it based on where the account is paid.

Just like the live channels for stuff like the simpsons one is US only. Even with a VPN doest show up.
