After all my attempts to get them to auto renew me, here was the email that I got from the NFL Game Pass people:

It seems there may have been an issue with the initial transaction attempt on your auto renewal as the payment was declined. To purchase and access content,please sign with your same user name and purchase manually at http://gamepass.nfl.com -- you'll not be billed twice (i.e. via auto renewal and manual purchase), and access will start immediately. The price on the site currently is the same rate you would have renewed at.

So the advice they're giving is that there was no benefit to auto-renewing, and those of you who were/are holding out for voucher codes were on the right track.

I had a similar situation happen to me a couple of years ago...was simply a case of the CC they had on file having expired.

And here I am calling them liars! That's exactly what the problem is, I have a new credit card (new exp date and crv) since a year ago that I haven't updated!

Still... wouldn't you think they'd email me and ask me to update it? Perhaps email me when it was declined? Or maybe, just maybe, email me in response to the emails I'd sent them about it?

There are promo codes every year man, they'll come - people just have to be a bit ore patient. I don't think they've ever been available in August before, I think we've always had to wait til September at the earliest. Which is fine... I don't need to watch pre-season games live, I'm quite happy to watch them by other means.

Defaulting on your GamePass because of an expired credit card is one thing, driving around in an uninsured car and living in a house that has no cover because your auto debit card on file with your insurance company is out of date is quite sobering.

All true... but I generally find that insurance companies are much quicker to call you and demand money!

We don't use PS4 store ordering - you basically order online via the website and just log in on the PS4 with your registered email address/username.

For those waiting for the new Apple TV app - we've had a delay w/Apple releasing the app and are hoping to have GP available in the next day or so. Sorry folks - out of our control unfortunately.

The new NFL Now Live channel has also been delayed by a day or two - it looks pretty good though. I was watching my man Ike Taylor doing some test spots earlier today and it's pretty cool.

....tomorrow the next round of pre-season games kick-off. We should get some more time in game from the starters from this week on.

Subscribed today. They got me. Screw the promo code, didn't want to wait a few weeks, lazy mornings watching preseason games on the weekend is too enticing. Hopefully the promo code isn't something awesome like 25% off but if it's only 5-10% off I can live with paying the extra $16

lol loyalty discount doubt it, ive had it every year since in launched 2008. they dont need to do loyalty discounts with how much they have dropped the price over the last few seasons.

going through some old emails the 2012 season was $135.

I know before that it was much more but changed my email in 2012 so dont have any for before then, but in 2008 it was like $20 for weekly subs

Nah not loyalty but quantity discount....if this thread is any indication, Australian GamePass subscriptions must be doubling annually at least.
