Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Apologies re: those looking for responses from me. I'm head down getting ready for pre-season and aren't as focused on product-related matters these days.
Weekly subs were pulled from market this year for various reasons (lack of subscribers, operational costs, etc). Our pricing and packaging has been getting more streamlined each seasons hence some options aren't available. For those contacting customer care, if you're not getting a response - PM me with your NFL.com ID and I'll get one of our guys to look into it. There's no reason why you should be waiting more than a day or so to hear back. Our International Customer Care is handled by a service provider, but I can get one of our domestic team to check the case for you as we use the same systems.
A while back, I said I'd update folks on PS4 - the app is ready to ship but the legal terms with Sony aren't resolved so we're not confident it will be available internationally for Pre-Season at this stage. Nothing we can do as it's in the lawyers hands at the moment....will post an update when I have more info.

Sent a query to gamepass asking what happened to the weekly sub option, got this near instantaneous reply.

Any update on RedZone, NFL Network and other media etc being available on the AppleTV?
Whats the thinking behind the auto payments coming out Aug 5, when the old season + subs end July 31? since Aug 1 is the start of the new "Season" shouldnt the auto payments start then.
or is it one of Roger Goodells cons to cheat people out of almost a week.
The Auto-renew date is purely set based on operational stuff at this end. Domestic started yesterday, International to follow..nothing more to it than that.
My assumption is that if you haven't opted out of auto-renew you will continue to have access to the product during that period. I'm not aware of us turning off access in the interim period. There's no intention for us to cheat anyone.
Both Redzone and Network should be available on Apple TV. Feature parity (where technically feasible) across all platforms is a goal.
No you wont. It goes off the IP showing. Otherwise people in the USA would get their friends to create an australian account and then theyd log in in the USA.sparkyblue
Can I use my gamepass account that I use in Australia to watch replays of games when I am in the US?
Will I still be able to use a vpn on my phone browser? No you wont. It goes off the IP showing. Otherwise people in the USA would get their friends to create an australian account and then theyd log in in the USA.
Use a VPN, on your browser, picking an australian fake ip and then you can. Ill let you know the one i use later tonight on firefox browser.
Tricky question. Theres probably a mobile app for firefox. I'll let you know later tonightWill I still be able to use a vpn on my phone browser?
For you guys when you click 'Update payment information' in the account settings does it show your credit card information? Mine doesn't show anything so I re-entered it but doesn't seem to stick.
Just want to ensure I get the cheap deal for auto-renewing
Thanks for prompting me to check my credit card details, I had forgotten I had updated my card in the last 12 months. Very good advice.Remember the Auto renew will be in a few days. Last years subscription email says Aug 1, but the free upgrade email says Aug 5.
I had to update my credit card details since the old one had expired, so check credit details also.
What about phone use? I most probably won't be taking a laptop with me.quotemokc
This is for your pc

If you have any hitches let me know. But it's very easy to set up. It's actually free to use. Just opt in for the free version.
I'm really not sure about a good mobile VPN. Most VPN's charge money.
I had a QUICK look around google search for mobile vpn's and all the ones i saw were paid services. What about phone use? I most probably won't be taking a laptop with me.
Sorry if this has been answered but I can't be bothered looking back through this thread - does anyone here use Game Pass on Apple TV, or is that function available yet?
I'm having trouble getting Game Pass to work on my Macbook Air on every browser so am looking for alternatives.
Yeah, it was available last season - that's how I used to watch games most of the time. Easy to use, and the best streaming quality that I found.

Interesting. I don't have any issues with the International Version of the AFL app but it wasn't built by the same dudes who built the AFL domestic app.
Not sure if BigPond built that app, but I know the guys at AFL Digital Media who are a pretty capable crew and have a good setup @ Etihad.
Re: GamePass - That download function may still make it into the Android app this season if we bring dev back in-house earlier than scheduled (next season). It may also be available in the NFL Mobile app as well as we're looking at adding that function.
And all this time I have been buying gamepass & syncing it to my apple tv to watch games... Having to wait for all the games to finish is a pain, most games I watch the replay anyway though. My apple tv is 3 years old though so not sure if it'll work....I use the AppleTV3 and it was fine - though I have BigPond Cable so you may want to check how well you stream some other stuff to see how it will work.
A couple of issues I found (from memory) were that you couldn't start the game from the beginning if it had already started - you would either have to join in progress or wait til it finished to watch the replay. Also there was some issue with watching the game after it had ended - you had to wait for all the days games to complete before being able to watch but that may have been just for the condensed version? If you look back through this thread it will tell you because I raised it and got a response from sparkyblue that it was due to using the same platform as the US version of gamepass.
Also you could only access the games on AppleTV last year - none of the other stuff like NFL Network, RedZone or the archived programs like Hard Knocks. Apparently that is being fixed this year though according to sparkyblue in this thread the last few days. From memory that was also due to using the same platform as US so the other issue with the games may be sorted out this year as well? Might need sparkyblue to give some advice there.
