Was a bit rough last week. Went 3-2 but should/could have easily been 5-0

Had

49ers -1 @ Cardinals — L

Eagles -3.5 N Jaguars — W

Bengals -3.5 vs. Buccaneers — L

Patriots -13.5 @ Bills — W

Colts -3 @ Raiders — W

9ers and Bengals choked.

This week taking

Patriots -5.5 vs. Packers

Saints -2 vs. Rams

Broncos -1 vs. Texans

Chiefs -8.5 @ Browns

Falcons +1.5 @ Redskins

Going to start paying closer attention to my record (on individual bets) and take it a little more seriously, see how I go and might start tracking the actual money in a spread sheet next season.

Multis are a bit of a different deal altogether and usually a bit of fun

Vegas sports books making more money than ever on football bets

Gamblers are losing more money betting on football in Las Vegas this season than they did last season.

Nevada sports books came out ahead by $18.4 million on football bets, and $8.7 million ahead on bets on all other sports, in November of this year, according to David Payne Purdum of ESPN. The sports books are expected to set all-time records for amount wagered and amount won this year.

There was some talk, when sports gambling was legalized in other states this year, that Nevada casinos could suffer as a result. But that hasn’t happened. People are still betting and losing big money in Vegas casinos. If anyone has suffered as a result of legalized sports gambling elsewhere, it’s likely the illegal bookies in other states who now have legal competition.

And, of course, casinos making more money means bettors losing more money.

Found an interesting trend 2nd half of last season when doing my formula thingy, 75% of the time with a road favourite, the game goes under the total, keeping en eye out for that this season

I don't touch NCAAF, such a lottery with the massive lines on offer.

NFL is notoriously hard to profit picking H2H as well, il probably play with some +Lines on underdogs through the year though.

Hey all,

I'm running an NFL tipping competition, but unlike most tipping competitions where entrants pick the "winner" head to head, this is a lines competition, where each entrant picks their 5 favourite lines for the week, as well as their favourite which equates to double points.

I ran one in the AFL this season, and over 40 people joined - some are even on BF. It's $100 entry, and the winner takes home 75% of the prize pool (which should end up around the $3000-$4000 mark, while 2nd and 3rd make up the rest of the dividends.

If you would like to join, you can join very easily here: https://www.thetrendbettor.com/comp, or have any questions, please feel free to email me at TheTrendBettor@gmail.com or hmu on twitter @TheTrendBettor.

It is also worth noting that The Trend Bettor is a legitimate business.

Cheers guys
