And the truth is the VFL players in those GFs are/were not that good particularly running around with the stand alone clubs - Coburg/Preston.
Would Heidelberg beat Preston = Yes & Coburg ?

Ive also noticed Vin has been appointed as "Academy Coach" at Port Melbourne VFL. Hope thats not a COI
Coburg would win by 10 goals +. People underestimate the gap between local footy and VFL
Heidelberg are the most skilled side ive seen at local level. But VFL is a different level. I think Bergs would go well against Preston Bullants though.
Heidelberg undoubtably a fantastic local side. I still think it's too big a gap.
