Boycotting the B & F ?? Cmon how about when Mont bloke injured bloke earlier in year with a big bump and got several weeks ?

not sure I agree with that logic. If Lachy Wilson had just had his jaw broken what would your stance be??? Lentini will win the rosebrook medal by a fair margin IMO he has every right not to attend

Whats Lachy Wilson got to do with it? Couldnt care who gets his jaw broken still no reason to boycott a League Medal but if thats the thinking of the Mont faithful fair enough then.

Again journalism at its best interviewing Lentini in Heraldsun hes quoted I didnt think it was a football act. If he had his time again Im pretty sure hed wait until the league go hrough the process. But he was most probably advised by Mont to go ahead and do what needs to be done. I think Mont need to remember that they were involved in something earlier in the year when a guy had his tongue split didnt they ? But that was an accident according to them.

Gets clicks. That’s what his job is.

Dont have to be eienstein but boycotting is just a ridiculous thing to say . But maybe its just all Mont supportrs getting far to carried away again unfortunate incident but he will get his penalty and will have no comeback after its been all over Big footy LOL.
Far out mate that’s a crude hit and potentially anywhere between 6-8 weeks. No one can be happy to see this occur as it’s a cheap shot from behind. Notice after it’s done and players come at him his not so tough.

My point is you’re nothing but a hypocrite with a chip on his shoulder.

Go back and read what you said re: Cumberland , you were the first bloke to get on here and chastise him then have the audacity to reference the Pat Cronin foundatin

you pick and choose based on your own agenda rather than look at something through a neutral lens when everyone else can see it was a dog’s act

Sorry for upsetting you,. read back I did say it wasnt a good look and the kid has let him down with undisciplined acts. Am I correct in saying it was different when it happened with Mont earlier in the year when guy had his tonge split in Half? nyway hell get what he deserves and am sure he will accept it as I did say earlier.

Move onto the next round of finals.

It wasn’t a football act. No need to wait, I saw it happen and there is no grey here. The main question is with the officiating umpire who did not do his job.

Uzelacs incident was very different, for one, he was pushed into thevGreensboroufpgh player, it was head on and was a football act, a bump, that went too high.

I assume you are trying to antagonistic, but You can’t compare the two.

Thanks for clarifying as you were actually there . Not being antagonistic at all . Just going on what you see and hear .

What is deemed a red cardable offence? Would be interested to have that clarified.
Umpires shouldve red carded him, meaning he takes no further part in game. yellow card sits him on the bench for 15 minutes, and he gets to play remainder of the game!
If, as mentioned above, Wild is on 10 weeks, he gets minimum 6 weeks at tribunal, he is derigistered and cannot play anywhere in Aust!
He can apply in 12-24 months to AFL Vic to be reinstated, and if he is approved, he gets to play again.
If he is reinstated and gets 1 week, he is done for life!

I accept that, , I have seen some things, but this was ordinary, the ball was not the target and you could guess the intent…although I am sure the outcome was much worse than what the player had in mind…as I said, the incident was bad, the umpire response was negligent…and he had a very ogood view.

Let’s see what he tribunal make of it.

I meant what sort of acts to both cards cover.. But its all listed in here.. Pretty much up to the discretion of the umpire.

Interesting he will get +1 week on top of what else he gets.

14. Any senior player (senior, reserve, under-19) issued a yellow or red card three times in one season will incuran automatic one match suspension in addition to any other penalty imposed by the Independent Tribunal oraccepted set penalty.

Poor bloke is in hospital recovering from a traumatic injury.

Buzzards saying it was part of the game.

Probably can’t work for a month and will have extensive medical bills out of his pocket medical expenses.

Why would good footballers play in this competition?
You would think Wild will get an extensive suspension for the act..... as he should looking at the footage.

I think everyone who watched Lentini play would be sending him best wishes with his recovery on what sounds to be extensive injuries.

But, I think one incident does not mean the whole competition is horrible. It's significantly better than the 'old days' and the overwhelming majority of people are in agreement that this sort of stuff is not what anyone wants to see and needs to be delt with appropriately when instances occur. The rest of the game it's self was physical, but not dirty.

These incidents while “rare” still happen. Unfortunately when the NFNL has a chance to say we won’t tolerate it with incidents like Cumberland’s punch they continue to fail.

Wild has 9 weeks I’ve been told from a friend at Hurstbridge (is this true?) and just returned from a week off for rough conduct.

Clearly the message didn’t get through and could now very likely have his career over at 25 pending a future appeal.

In saying that I have very little sympathy as I’m now seeing many players retiring from repeat concussions and having their careers cut short due to moronic incidents like this which can easy be avoided.
