Jacob Pickett is a great get, was always a fringe player at the Boro which is a hard side to crack especially when VFL players return. He always has a go and the only reason he got dropped was for that reason

Agree, great young kid that I am amazed if Boro would let go so easy.

Yeh both should be handy, so should Novelli. Bektash is just a plodder now, he will struggle!

From experience though, guys who play predominantly ressies in div 1 and go ok don’t normally come and play well in div 2 seniors. Div 1 ressies players actually think they are better than div 2 seniors need a smack across the scon

Very interesting to see the league as made the shift to now have a top-5 in Division 2. I think this season will definitely be one of the most competitive (Banyule, Eltham, Lower, Diamo, Thomastown all in the hunt, with the others definitely able to do some damage on their day) in recent times, and so to have a top 5 would be great from a neutral supporter stand point.
