I've seen Malone play a lot and he is a star.
Inside player that feeds it out and shepherds defensively for team mates.
Also hits targets on the way out too.
local footy has too many ball hungry players that look good, get lots of posessions and then turn the ball over all the time.
Players that hit targets are under rated in local footy.

Agree, very good player and good bloke. People can have the perceptions its what the net is all about. He has been a wonderer but nothing wrong with that. This is local footy and until you find ya feet and a place your happy at good luck to him. Wish he was at my Club, players like him with a full season win finals.

Wow west surely rested half their side?
Spoke to someone this morning, said both sides had more then half a dozen key players out. My mate from West said while West obviously have improvement to make, Thomo were really impressive and can't be taken lightly.

Gonna be a awesome season in div 2.

St Mary's accounted for Old Paradians in both grades. Once again the endeavour was excellent from both teams and tackling pressure was high. St Mary's (like Laurimar) have a couple of quite handy forwards, and are very strong in the air, and drop of the ball. Run off half back was slick and their transition play was fast. Best of luck to them for the year.

Kizza never reached his potential with us at Lower. Few injuries didn’t help. He needs to get back the enjoyment of playing again. All the best Kiz and welcome back at para anyway champ

Thommo have a good list, if it wasn’t for Oxley imo would have beaten Panther in that final. Have picked up some genuine guns as well for the VFL should make a big difference

No disrespect to St.Marys but does anyone know why the league would fixture them against Eltham on Good Friday? Feels like they're being fed to the wolves a bit. Would've thought your first choice would be Lower Plenty given the last time they played was the 2018 GF. Diamond Creek, even, would be a better option than St.Marys.

Won’t be a block buster unfortunately. Let’s just hope for a good game

Its not a fixture its a request. Diamond Creek knocked back the option to play. Not sure if it was offered to Lower Plenty but agree would have been a good game. St Mary's agreed to play and be part of a huge day.

In the end its is an NFNL agreement between Greensborough and Eltham to have a game each year, when in same division they play each other, when not they seek an opposition to agree to play them.

Nothing to do with the league. Both clubs have to agree. May be St Mary's are confident they'll get to host in 2022 ;)
