I reckon they stay up, however I think they fall short of finals.
Div 2 is the most even comp we have though - which makes sense with the promotion/relegation system

I think parade should finish mid table 5-8. Then again I thought the same about Laurimar. I think Parade are better prepared though.
I swear I saw Seb Cannizzaro sign some where else before parade or am I dreaming?
Yesterday I wrote an article on The Northern Footy Show facebook page on Division 2 being the most even spread and that at this stage anyone cold play finals. I don't believe Div 1 or 3 can offer that as the difference is sides talent is too big. Is there anyone that simply can not make finals and is there anyone here that 100% cant miss finals?

I'm not that far away from that myself Denny. Watsy, Northcote and Panton Hill have recruited and some really good up and coming 19s too who may surprise. Northcote could be a smokey as there best last year was as good as anyones. Agree on the cant miss which leave 4th and 5th wide open to the others.

Common sense, everyone Thought laurimar would go well and didn’t, therefor parade will be 2nd bottom, watsonia clearly bottom
Watsonia seemed to have recruited a few for mine. A new coach could easily improve the group as well.

Lewy Franz goes well. Kicked 7 goals across the finals series as well as being as competitive as anyone on the field. Love the way he plays.

From memory was in Watsonia reserves couple years back, when they were struggling in Div 2.
Don’t think he is up to the standard.
I dare say the standard of Div3 seniors in 2024 was better than Div2 reserves, and Lewy was terrific. Aside from his goals, his chase-down on the outer wing in the GF was a true highlight and shows the effort he gives.
In any case, we’re under no illusion about the challenge ahead, and looking forward to it.
Enough people have already dismissed us, so we’ll just have to see if we’re up to it I guess
