How many did Lalor have out?
Was talking to cutler after the game who said they had 7 out. Including the saccuzo bros & their main ruckman. Gary Johns from Epping said they were short too. Seems like both clubs were just testing their recruits. Justin Bently looked pretty good for someone who only played 2 reserves games last year.

7 out ... gee whiz not too bad then . The brothers and ruckman didn’t play and Played 2 or 3 games for the year ... so maybe new recruits were others out ?

Can anyone from the bloods let us know who the 7 actually were that didn’t play ?

Maybe I’m different but seriously 8 leaders at Laurimar. Nearly 50% of players on the ground are “leaders”

Suppose one good thing with so many leaders is that there will be plenty to stand up and take control of the game when it’s in the balance
Being a leader doesn’t mean anything. The blokes who step up and take control do it regardless. If being a leader did that then I’m sure clubs would name 22.

It just waters down the role imo when half the side has it.

Totally agree, seems to be a bit of over kill but time will tell
Anybody know the NFL Premiership player who wakes in off the street is at Laurimar?

Laurimar’s recruiting campaign received an unexpected boost when an NFL premiership player walked into the club.
Alisdair Jackson, who was full-back in Hurstbridge’s 2016 Division 2 premiership win over North Heidelberg, has joined Justin Sherman’s side.
The experienced defender has spent the past three years with Southern league club Mordialloc, where he was part of its Division 1 preliminary final side in 2018 and played all 18 matches last season.

seems like a good pickup off the street.

Laurimar should be red hot favourites at this stage but it’s a long season

Laurimars to losers at this stage. They have had a strong off season in recruiting and have not really lost anybody of note aside from King potentially. Kilmore the only danger

The only danger? Besides Lalor and Reservior I wouldn’t be surprised to see any side win it.

Laurimar obviously a good side but they weren’t dominate like PH last year. They had a lot of lucky wins really

Lalor having another practice match this Saturday against Yarroweyah
Did notice the other day on the Blood Facebook page the New Pres put a comment ' New Chapter Begins ' I thought that began a couple of years ago . Maybe he is referring to his role , hope they improve.
