Great job?? Would you leave if you were getting paid triple other clubs would pay you, to train once a week and do what you want. They would probably pay more than any other club in div 3.

So basically any 30+ year old in bottom divison footy (NFNL, SFNL,EFNL)

Yeah I think they have done well to make the club relevant/competitive again and unless you have some factual insights in to the salaries of said 30+ year olds and their overall cap then this post is 'hearsay' at best.

I saw they got approval for a new surface. Usually that’s done over cricket season when the weather is good.

They already have issues with their playing surface so I can’t see them agreeing to that.

I not sure why you're so negative as its not as if they are flogging teams each week they are just slowly getting competitive with the rest of the division. it looks much better for the entire competition if you don't have team being flooded by 200 plus points each week.Looking at the big picture if your comp is strong then it makes it easier to attract good players as they will want to play in a high standard comp even at div3 level

Thats exactly the problem. They arent flogging teams but they are throwing around unbelievable amounts of money over the cap because of their financial links. This then creates added pressure of what clubs around them must do to recruit/retain their own players including fringe to keep up with it. They arent attracting good players its the wallet that is doing the talking.
