Agree - great job to re-sign all the top end talent they got in last year and then keep building from there.top end of reservoirs players re signing for 2016 good on them I reckon they just now need to get some serious depth for the seconds to cover off injures and player not available
Great job?? Would you leave if you were getting paid triple other clubs would pay you, to train once a week and do what you want. They would probably pay more than any other club in div 3.Agree - great job to re-sign all the top end talent they got in last year and then keep building from there.
So basically any 30+ year old in bottom divison footy (NFNL, SFNL,EFNL)Great job?? Would you leave if you were getting paid triple other clubs would pay you, to train once a week and do what you want. They would probably pay more than any other club in div 3.
Yeah I think they have done well to make the club relevant/competitive again and unless you have some factual insights in to the salaries of said 30+ year olds and their overall cap then this post is 'hearsay' at best.Great job?? Would you leave if you were getting paid triple other clubs would pay you, to train once a week and do what you want. They would probably pay more than any other club in div 3.
I saw they got approval for a new surface. Usually that’s done over cricket season when the weather is good.May only be a rumour , but any truth to Kinglake ground unavailable after rd1?
Where will they play home games if so?
If it were to be the case I think a logical option would be a groundshare scenario with WhittleseaI saw they got approval for a new surface. Usually that’s done over cricket season when the weather is good.
Not sure where they would play. Pretty remote area
They already have issues with their playing surface so I can’t see them agreeing to that.If it were to be the case I think a logical option would be a groundshare scenario with Whittlesea
I hear the skipper will be in Green.First of the Watsonia crew to drop at Eltham. More to come I hear.
think you need a dynamic half forward to slot in Chump!Agree - great job to re-sign all the top end talent they got in last year and then keep building from there.
Calm b4 stormHaven’t heard a peep out of Lalor. I know re-signings aren’t every clubs go but socials are dead since early september
Might have a few more announcements in the next week or so Rover.think you need a dynamic half forward to slot in Chump!
Also sad to see Otto contract not renewed, any idea where he will end up?
Who's going to get a better reception on social media for their signing posts, Viv or Reuben?I'll give you some 'more' next week![]()
I not sure why you're so negative as its not as if they are flogging teams each week they are just slowly getting competitive with the rest of the division. it looks much better for the entire competition if you don't have team being flooded by 200 plus points each week.Looking at the big picture if your comp is strong then it makes it easier to attract good players as they will want to play in a high standard comp even at div3 levelGreat job?? Thats exactly the problem. They arent flogging teams but they are throwing around unbelievable amounts of money over the cap because of their financial links. This then creates added pressure of what clubs around them must do to recruit/retain their own players including fringe to keep up with it. They arent attracting good players its the wallet that is doing the talking.I not sure why you're so negative as its not as if they are flogging teams each week they are just slowly getting competitive with the rest of the division. it looks much better for the entire competition if you don't have team being flooded by 200 plus points each week.Looking at the big picture if your comp is strong then it makes it easier to attract good players as they will want to play in a high standard comp even at div3 level
