Isaiah Butters (45-75)

Liam Henry (12-20)

Manfred Kelly Cat B

Leno Thomas Cat B

I hope we take them all this year.

Butters GF guaranteed he’ll go in the draft.

Where does everyone else think they go.

2020 will be a NGA and Father sun blitz. Ridiculous amount of them next year. We might want to bank some points for 2020.

Brisbane have none, yet have that Lachlan Johnson they could get as a F/S

Butters did nothing before the GF so that will count against him. Getting rookied would be a good result - best one for us too.

Agree on Henry
Kelly - not drafted
Agree on Thomas
Butters - Cat B

Unless he nominates Essendom in which case we lose a father son chance.

Some of these lists are huge, I wonder how they compare to the northern academy lists?
i would of thought Essendon have enough smalls, another small on Brisbanes list would be good

Might be the same thing that happened with the cats and Connor Idun. Everyone thought he qualified as NGA but wasn't. Still not sure how he wasn't tbh
Well he’s been mentioned by a few sites and also Knightmare and Callum Twomey on the AFL site:

Wouldn’t be the first time one of these ‘complete list’ articles have completely overlooked an eligible player.

Are there eligible NGA’s not listed?

Couple from outside the listed ones could be eligible to Essendon as mature aged NGA. Curious how it all could/should work

afaik all NGA players are listed

During the AFL U17's futures match, it was mentioned that up to 17 players had links to clubs due to F/S, NGA or academy. Bit early to conclude but it got me thinking that clubs must have some form of influence on representative selections. It's in their interest for players link to themselves to develop to the highest level, especially when every other club is getting concession selections.

There you have it Lore. I had even made comments in this thread about the NGA academies.

Apparently some people are quite upset that our Bombers have been able to add Josh Eyre (Kilmore FNC) who managed to play 8 games at NAB level for the Cannons. Has had his ups and downs but the super talented 194cm tall fwd is one to wtch in 2020 apparently.

Add to that we have Cody Brand who played the majority of the season with the Cannons also and we could be set for a nice little haul at the 2020 draft.
