Big dreams! Good on him. Sounds like he wants to try this tennis thing to make it to the Olympics. If he's great, it's worth pursuing, if not, AFL is more lucrative and he still want to be a footballer.
Max not his youngest eitherWOW
As a kid I can remember "Big" Jim Michaelanney playing for Norwood back in the early 80s and I am pretty sure he was around a long while before that too.
Surely he would be in the his mid to late 60s now.
I'm guessing that Max must have been a mid life crisis baby.
Highly rated defender Max Michaelanny also earned selection in the squad and could join Adelaide under father-son ruling given his father, Jim, played over 200 SANFL games for Norwood in the 20 years immediately before the Crows' AFL inception.
Lets hope for the best here but plan for the worst (him not being eligible as a father son). He can play and was part of a pretty strong rostrevor sideNo pressure Max. We get a father son prospect who actually looks good through the SANFL rule by chance.. let's hope this is the first of many.
Its points based so if they bid on him before pick 10 and we match we lose our next lot of picks that match the points required then move to the backend of the drafthow does F/S work if we have say pick 10 and someone lower bids on him. Do we use that pick 10 to counter or can we use an accumulation of lower points instead.
