So has anyone else got this game?
Picked it up last week, early days but an improvement on last year's game.
Broken sticks is a nice feature that add's to the realism.
Personally I think the new faceoff mechanism is an improvement and in this game when you hit an opponent they stay hit
Yep, been playing since release in conjunction with FIFA 11 and NBA 2k11 doing the 'Be a Pro/My Player' mode on all 3 and loving it!
There's a stupid bug in 'Be a Pro' on NHL 11 where if you pick the 'Be a Pro' mode where you start off playing junior games and then get drafted, overtime losses will count as 0 pts instead of 1 pt throughout your career, even when you set the option to 1 pt at the start of your career. Even tried setting it to 0 pts just in case that worked, but no luck. Had a look on google, and it's apparently a bug.
So I had to do the 'Be a Pro' mode where you just pick a team, and it works - OT losses are 1 pt like they should be. Weird. Anyway, chose my team at random and ended up at the Minnesota Wild, who despite having pretty good team stats, kinda suck. Coming last in the whole league, with my Offensive Defenseman being a starter leading the team in goals, points and hits! We sit on 10-23-3....Hopefully we improve or I'll be looking for a trade
