With all the media sadness about it and everyone "feeling" for him, Shuey calling him our spiritual leader and all it has a bit of a Bob Murphy feel to it.
Could it be that extra spur on to lead us to a Premiership like the Doggies in 2016?

More than anything I want Nic to be healthy and not a cripple for the rest of his life. If that means he never plays again, then I guess that's the price that'll have to be paid. He'll go down an absolute champion of the club and will be a part of the fabric at the Eagles for the foreseeable future.

If he has the drive to go through the rehab again and come back, then he's stronger than I could ever be. Either way, I love you Naita.

Devastating...but just means we have to go back to back for Nic!

We did it for David Hart & David Heinz back in 1994 who both missed out on 1992 with injury. It wasn't exactly back to back but pretty close. So no reason why we can't do it for Nic. Let's hope so anyway so fingers & toes crossed for the future - Nic really has had his share of bad luck over the last few years and he deserves a break.
