Haha no shit, Lycett would be asking for a bit more now i reckon.
don't players who do ACLs usually:
1. go to ground in tremendous pain (not hobble off)
2. are generally fine walking after the pain has subsided (not hobbling around the rooms)?
Yeah, my dad walked across the refinery he works at to the medical centre after doing his.John Worsfold ran off the field with a busted ACL. True that (for some) after the intense pain that does subside.

Probably depends what else he did. Might have wrecked more than just the acl and that’s what the pains from? Definitely looks baddon't players who do ACLs usually:

I don't believe it's an ACL though I do believe it's the last we see NN this year. Medial Strain or Meniscus 6-8 weeks and by the you'd be risking a lot to bring him in potentially underdone in the finals.
I don't get the doom and gloom though - I thought Lycett handled himself well.
I can definitely see why people have perceptions of doom and gloom. Naitanui has been the one that has "papered over the cracks" with our horrendous midfield over many years. We have seen first hand what its like when someone else is rucking in his place. We usually lose the clearances, get dominated with contested ball, etc.I don't believe it's an ACL though I do believe it's the last we see NN this year. Don’t reckon it would be as unrealistic as it sounds though. Acl wouldn’t see him back playing till 2020 and id say there’s not a lot of chance of him coming back like he did the year with both knees shaky. Also he’s the type of guy that would realise this and retire for the good of the team.Crikey
That mofo said that??
Settle down Haze
Yep. Clinical testing is usually quite accurate, particularly when performed by the calibre of the average AFL physio or doctor. Can't they do some tests on a knee straight away to determine whether it's an ACL? I know they don't confirm ACL but are usually ~90% correct. I suppose Simmo reaction says these test were bad news..
RIP NicNat 2018
I'll be praying to the footy gods I'm wrong.
If it’s a confirmed ACL, he should go the LARS route and try get back either late this season or be right for next.

Exactly thank you it’s because our gameI can definitely see why people have perceptions of doom and gloom. However, today should be a good reason for us to believe that it isn't all doom and gloom. We killed Collingwood without him and our mids dominated.
I flat out refuse to do any of that. I'm closer to donating my own ligaments if it helps NN get back than moving on with my life.I think the sensible thing to do is just make your peace with the fact that there is probably an 80-85% chance that was a season ending, career threatening injury, be disappointed, and get on with your life.
