They really need to invent a new stat for Nicky. Exit possessions rather than contested. It's where you get the ball in a contested situation and run away from it in any direction, not just forward like all of the normal players.You’ve got the wrong stat there, friendo… Nick is 16th in the league for contested possessions, ahead of checks notes literally every Essendong player
How about premiership medals per 100 games? Because I couldn't GAF if he never takes a contested mark

They have to pigeon hole each player into a position for stat comparisons, but modern footy has them move all over the ground.
Nope, let’s keep making decent role players elite and ignore defenders who don’t intercept mark as they don’t even score spoils.
