Nick Gill

Hi guys,

We've drafted Nick Gill as a rookie... what can you tell us about him? Age, height, weight, position/s? Form?

Why did you guys delist him?

I'm sure he played for Port Melbourne in the VFL GF & was one of port's best players.

Not much of a player, hence the reason he didn't make it at Melbourne.

We were looking at re-drafting Gill onto the rookie list at the end of '01 after we delisted him.. but I was glad that we didn't.
He's tall, but still a beanpole even after 3 years of VFL footy. I doubt that he will make it, but good luck to him.

Yeah!

He played in one pre-season game in 2001 (vs Freo I think) & didn't look like anything special.

He's probably better known for playing guitar in "No Soup For You" along with Neeta & Robbo I think.
