Wouldn't think so. Patton just kicked 50+ and Haynes is one of the best intercept backmen in the league
GWS has enough talent to off load to get decent pick with out trading to corner stones of there team

GWS won't be giving up their defensive unit players. Davis, Tomlinson, Haynes, Corr, Buntine, Williams, A.Kennedy is a strong core with a couple for depth too. It should be the cornerstone of their tilt - it'll save the much more vaunted midfield in finals in years to come I imagine.
Yes, Haynes, Tomlinson, Williams, Wilson and Corr all had their absolute butcher moments last night, some costing goals, but they withstood the onslaught for a fair while, until Rioli took a couple of half-opportunities and barely anyone in the league can go with Dusty. They'll be better for it next year, the defenders were continuously their hardest runners and toughest in the contest for GWS in recent bad losses (Geelong, Adelaide, Richmond).
Obviously Shaw is around too but he's on the way out.

Isn't he pretty much the same type of player as Dylan Roberton, and only a year younger? Doesn't really seem like it exactly fills a need. A bigger, "true" key defender might be the way to go instead.
Of course they could trade players in for those picks. But why the hell would they be trading these guys unless they want out. But I haven't heard anything other than this thread.
