They were announced about a year ago. Joint project with the local council.
The details are a little sketchy (someone might have the link to the articles), but basically they are tearing down a couple of the grandstands, putting in a community based centre with gym, pool, cafe, function rooms etc, and I believe new offices for the CFC.
The new facility will rival anything that the other clubs have got and was part of the reason Ratts and Riley went to the U.K. in October. I imagine they would have come back with a wish list.
