People talk about go home factor forgetting that, doubtlessly to their now late middle aged parents distress, they don't all go home even when it's over.

Be interesting to do little survey of our former players originating outside WA to work out how many stayed on*.

*Note: many people would not find this interesting

Yes, interesting notion, making you own home and staying - revolutionary!

I heard Suban was offered a one year deal at GWS but turned it down. Didn't want to move family over for a one year deal. Usual BF unconfirmed source Depends if he has a decent non footy job offer as to how believable.

Probably right.
"Nic, come to Sydney for base salary...one year only...most expensive city in the country...Sound attractive?"

All the best Subes, he bled for the club and was always the first to stick up for his teammates if the other team was getting a bit anti-social.
I remember him early on being one of the leaders of the new brigade coming through that led eventually to the 2013 GF. Him and MDB in particular getting the younger players fired up to help out the senior core.

GWS offer of a 1 year deal certainly would fit but I agree, playing for Souths is probably going to be almost as good money wise versus cost of living and better stability. He will be a dominant WAFL player.
