I don't really use nicknames for the players very often though. Unless they are my absolute favorites - rubberman wanganeen, matty the tank thomas, heavy overnight dew :p

When do they get presented their jumper numbers?
Officially on the Family Day. I don't know the date next year, was 6th February this year.
Unofficially the actual allocation of numbers is no huge big deal and we often (always?) know before the official presentation.

We haven't finished accumulating our full squad yet
Once we get a full squad I would like to see a sticky nickname thread with the official PAFC player nicknames - if we can find out what they are and a BF nickname list as a comparison.

Jeez, it must be pre-season to come up with something so bland as that idea.:eek:
